A gradual transition plan** is key when moving dogs from kibble to raw to avoid stomach upset. Switching your dog from processed kibble to a raw diet should be done **slowly and carefully** to support healthy digestion.

• Step 1: Prepare**
• Store raw food frozen, and thaw in the refrigerator before feeding.
• Use clean bowls, cutting boards, and utensils to avoid contamination.

• Step 2: Start Slow (7–10 Days)
• Days 1–3  Replace **25% of the kibble** with raw food at each meal.
• Days 4–6  Increase to **50% raw, 50% kibble**.
• Days 7–9  Increase to **75% raw, 25% kibble**.
• Day 10+ Transition to **100% raw diet**.

• Some owners prefer a **“cold turkey” switch** (all raw, no kibble). This can work for healthy adult dogs, but the gradual method is easier on digestion.
• * Feed **80% muscle meat, 10% organ meat, 10% bone** (if using bones).
